Eating the same healthy meal every day? Ground turkey, veggies and brown rice done 5 ways!

In my last post I talked about making food prep easy. But won’t eating ground turkey, veggies, and brown rice every day get boring? It definitely could! But the same thing that makes this meal potentially boring to eat every day (semi-bland ingredients) is what lets you vary it up every day!

Here are 5 ways that I varied up my standard lunch:

Making Boring, Healthy Meals More Interesting!

  1. Buffalo style: adding a little bit of plain greek yogurt and buffalo wing sauce.
  2. Italian style: adding 1 serving of light Italian dressing.
  3. BBQ: duh, add BBQ sauce.
  4. Asian style: add some soy sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, and ground ginger.
  5. Mexican style: add salsa and a dollop of plain greek yogurt (a great sour cream substitute!).

There you go! The possibilities are endless!
