Hello blogging world! I’m back! These past couple of weeks of moving and changing every aspect of my life has been much harder than anticipated. Emotionally I mean. I needed to step back from “unnecessary” things to survive- you know because sleeping for some reason takes a lot of time out of my schedule.
Anthony and I were staying with some of my family in New Jersey. Without their generosity we would have had to wait a while longer to make this big move. But we wanted to live and work in Manhattan. I was able to get a job so quickly (YAY!), but that meant I had an hour and a half bus commute to and from work. Add this to 45-50 hours/week and that equals major exhaustion. I’m still having trouble settling into a routine and getting my sleep back to normal. Then came apartment hunting in NYC… the stress of finding a place in this city is unbelievable.
Our eating and workout habits have suffered until very recently too. I’ve gained a good couple of pounds. But we finally have our very own tiny Manhattan kitchen to start cooking in and gyms to join. Life can finally start steering back to a new normal, which means blogging again for me!
So let me introduce you to my tiny Manhattan kitchen:
Yup… that’s it. That’s the entire kitchen. We’ve made it work though.
I’m so happy to get back into healthy eating, working out, and blogging in my new city. I’m excited to share this adventure with the world!
