The good-bye process has begun. Not at all my favorite part of moving.
On Wednesday I said good-bye to a friend whom I haven’t known for a long time, but she’s someone who’s made an impact on my life and I wish I met her sooner. She came over to help me drink some wine- because why move it when you can enjoy it now? She gave me one of the coolest gifts I have ever received in between all the wine drinking: a veggetti!
It was a very thoughtful gift that I will use so much! Thanks Michelle and I’ll miss you terribly!
I’m glass the majority of the remaining good-byes will be done at one event. I can get one good cry out instead of doing that all week…
I also said good-bye to my job and the people I’ve worked with for over three years. They hired me before I even graduated college and I’ve been able to help them grow their profits by about 60% in my time with them. This job has taught me A LOT about how to run a small business. I will forever be grateful to them for giving me that opportunity. We decided to have a good-bye lunch (of course more food). If you are ever in Shoreview, MN, Suishin Restaurant is pretty fantastic.
Saying good-bye, and just the process of moving, is very sad and generally stresses me out. But I have just signed up for one of the best online yoga subscriptions ever. Yoga has always brought me calmness and mindfulness, which will definitely help throughout this whole experience. I highly recommend that everyone check out My Yoga. There is some fantastic yoga and meditation content, and it’s EXTREMELY affordable. Being able to continue my yoga practice around my busy schedule should make life much more manageable.
