That’s right, I said Cookie Butter! Holy crap this stuff is addictive…
I heard about Cookie Butter when I was reading some list of top items to buy at Trader Joe’s. I wasn’t disappointed. BUT… I had to come up with a better way to eat this stuff, as I could easily eat a jar of this in one sitting. So I added it to a smoothie!
This crack-like substance really isn’t so bad for you if you only consume a serving at a time (coming in at about 130 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 6 grams of sugar per serving). This smoothie will let you enjoy this delicious spread without feeling guilty.
What you need:
- 1 banana
- 1 cup spinach or kale or green cubes
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1 serving of protein powder (if you want to make this a meal)
- 1 Tbsp Cookie Butter
- flax or chia seeds
- 1/2 cup water
What you do:
Blend all ingredients and enjoy!
