I’m quite obsessed with smoothies. You can pack them full of nutrition, and they make a great on-the-go breakfast. I tend to have a smoothie for breakfast about 5-6 times a week. One of the smoothies I like to make is a banana and oat smoothie, that tastes sort of liked a spiced oatmeal cookie.
What you need: 1 banana 1 cup greens (or green cubes!) 1 cup-ish water 1 serving protein powder A couple spoonfuls of plain yogurt (yay probiotics!) 2 Tbsp oats 1 Tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp ground cardamon, ginger, and nutmeg What you do: Combine the oats, all of the spices, and a little bit of water in a small container. Put these ingredients into the microwave for 30 seconds to cook the oatmeal a little (this will make the oatmeal taste more prominent). This step can be done the night before to make life easier, as it needs to cool.
