Avocado Pasta Sauce

I make a lot of pasta for dinners. It’s quick and easy to cook pasta, a protein, and some veggies. Pasta sauces can be a calorie trap, and ruin the nutritional value of everything else you put in your dish.

As an Alfredo sauce alternative, I like to make an avocado sauce instead.

What you need:

Pasta of your choice

Protein of your choice

Vegetable(s) of your choice

Avocado Cube 

A little olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper- and maybe just a little fresh parmesan (it’s worth it)

What your do:

Cook your pasta, protein, and veggies according to your liking. Combine the cooked pasta, defrosted avocado cube, a splash of olive oil, about a tsp lemon juice, and a dash of salt and pepper. Stir these together until well combined. Top the pasta and sauce with your protein and veggies.

In the picture above, I made the pasta with pan fried salmon and asparagus. I also frequently make it with chicken and mushrooms.
