If you’re like me and like smoothies for breakfast, this trick might save you a tiny bit of time in the morning. I like to blend my leafy greens before the rest of the smoothie, to ensure that they are a nice and smooth consistency. By doing a huge batch of spinach or kale at once and freezing them, I’ve just eliminated one step for my groggy self in the morning. So here’s what you do: for every cup of spinach, add a little less than 1/4 cup of water. Blend away! I was able to get a 1 cup equivalent of spinach in 2 cubes. Freeze and enjoy in your smoothies later!
